Though not a performance, the 1st and 3rd film loops of this looping installation expanded into 9-projector film blow-ups in the performance work. I wanted to articulate what was within each of these loops with and did so with “Je Ne Sais Plus” and “What Is Nothing”.

Identity transforms into material, as optical diagnostic machines become the body’s voice. Sections of each film frame have been operated on with a laser cutter. Film stills have been transplanted by hand and tape into another film’s body.
